A FEW PROJECTS I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON

this is my new purse... what do you think, cute,obsessed or 90 year old women??????????

I bought this chair at the DI. (i forgot to take the before picture) Guy thought i had lost my mind. A few cans of spray paint and It is a beautiful master piece for the corner of my bedroom. I think my owl pillow look right at home on its newly painted surface. (picture doesnt do it justice) I have been obsessing over making flowers lately. I think i will add some to this 1.25 find from Walmart. (i will post pictures of my finished product later) I just need a loamp base now.

just a another in the middle of project. I thought i would give you a little teaser.

This week i have been really sick bad cough (you know the peeing your pants kind) sneezing, runny nose, ect....... I hope to get a few things more done this week and get them posted. I have a lot of new fun ideas rattling around in this stuffed up head of mine!!!!!!!!!!!

i was thinking today what some of my new years resolutions would be for 2010
and i thought i would share some:

spend more quality time with my dad

take more pictures

learn to add pictures to my blog

take a cake decorating class

get healthy

make new blanket for our beds

organize the basement

redo my christmas tree (i am so sick of my current one)

stop drinking pop

be a better blogger

learn to make the best cupcakes ever

redo the upstairs bathroom

plan and plant a better veggie garden

I am really looking forward to the upcoming year hopefully it will be my best year yet!!!! :)

8 days til christmas YIKES!!!!!!!

I have been feeling very bah-humbug this year for christmas. It is comming way to fast. Brittanys to big and just wants money. No little ones to get us up at 1:00 am to see whats under the tree. I was reminissing about christmas's past and i think i am missing the service aspect of the season. I need to get cracken. I havent even done anything for my neighbors yet. If you have any fun, cute, cheap ideas let me know!!!!!

These are a few pictures from Becky an My encounter with Liz Kartchner!!!! She had an open house close to Becky's. I was so excited to see her new book i have been trying to get it every where but it has been sold out. Liz was so cute and nice. We explained to her we had sisters that would have loved to come but previous engagements prohibited ed them. Erin called at the perfect time Liz took the phone and started talking to her like they were long lost friends. I am so excited to start creating scrapbook pages, her book really is inspireing.

As many of you know (or can see) i have struggled with my weight for the last 15 years. I LOVE to eat. I would marry food i could!!!!! I have been doing the HCG shots and i have reached the 37 pound mark!!!! I have been doing it for four weeks now!!!! This has really modivated me to get my butt in gear and get with the program!!!!! I think i will be starting Weight Watcher after i am done (2 more weeks of shots and 3 weeks maintance). Then I will start the shots again in 6 more weeks. I dont mean to brag but i am kind of proud of myself. Brittany is doing the diet to and she has lost 17lbs. Pretty soon we will be so foxy Guy wont know what to do with us both. HAHAHAHA

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY BRITTANY

Today is Brittanys birthday. YAHOO!!! She is finally 18 it seems like the whole time you are a teenager you cant wait to be 18. Now the day has come and the only difference is she could buy cigarettes legally if she wanted to. I love on Gilmore Girls when Lorilee gets in bed with Rory and tells her about the day of her birth. I can remember feeling scared, excited, nervous, in anticipation of this little bundle of joy coming to our family. My mom and Erin were already with us (Phoenix, Az) because they were so excited to see the first granddaughter born. (no really i that i was having labor pain the first part of August, my mom thought i knew what i was talking about so she had my Dad rush them down now 3 1/2 week later the doctor was finally starting me) Brittany was perfect she had the most beautiful skin and a full head of black hair. The nurse said to us she needs to have a beautiful name to go with this beautiful baby. We had the hardest time agreeing on anything. Everything I liked Guy didn't. Finally we decided on BRITTANY SARAH LEWIS. We love you girly!!!!! Thank for being the best part of our family!!!!!!!

THIS GIRLS GROWING UP FAST

You know it seems like yesterday I was 9 month + pregnant waiting for this little thing to come out of my body. Now almost 18 years later how far we have come. Yesterday Brittany got her Young Womans Medallion. She kind of left it to the last minute, but thanks to a Great Young Womans leader to light a little fire under her, she got it done. I am so proud of her. She even bore her testimony when they gave it to her. (if you know Brittany the only time you hear her testimony is at Girls Camp and maybe at Seminary). Grandma and Grandpa Thomson came and so did her Dad. It was a need expericane. I am so thankful for the Great Example she has been to our family.
